Taking environmental considerations seriously, Wellies Day Nursery displayed a strong commitment to the environment while renovating their barn into a modern preschool. During a conversation with Helen Hobbs, the Managing Director of the Nursery, she highlighted that factors such as escalating fuel expenses, a focus on sustainability, and the desire to minimise the preschool's carbon footprint were significant drivers behind their decision to opt for an air source heat pump.
When asked about her experience with the heat pump, Helen said “the system runs intself and the building is evenly heated throughout”. Helen also highlighted the peace of mind that comes with owning an air source heat pump and the reduced maintenance.
