Every heat pump supplied and commissioned by Alto Energy comes with a genuine parts and labour warranty. Our coverage includes:

• Ground Source Heat Pumps: 5-year parts and labour warranty

• Air Source Heat Pumps: 7-year parts and labour warranty

Installing a new ground source heat pump attracts zero-rated VAT, meaning you don’t pay any VAT whatsoever on the supply, installation and commissioning of a replacement ground source heat pump. This is in contract to the standard 20% VAT rate that is paid on any repair work. This represents a significant saving, and is a very important consideration to be paid when assessing the decision between repairing or replacing your ground source heat pump.

Through our network of approved installation partners, Alto Energy will organise the delivery of your new ground source heat pump, the disconnection and collection of your old ground source heat pump, and installation of your new ground source heat pump onto the existing connections. If you are looking at making alterations to the existing ground loop or distribution system, this is possible however we recommend you contact us at an early stage to discuss this.

Anyone who takes up our ground source heat pump recycling scheme offer will also get their first year service free of charge. To claim this, you will need to sign up to one of our heat pump service plans. For customers already on a service plan, you won’t need to do anything, your direct debit will simply be paused for 12 months before resuming again after the free service has been completed.
