ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Underfloor heating is more efficient than a traditional radiator system when it comes to distributing heat throughout your property. If you think about the amount of pipework that is placed beneath your floor, it exceeds that of radiators. Why does this make it more efficient? Good question. A larger surface area means that a lower flow temperature can be used to heat your home. If you think about a traditional radiator system, the surface area for heat exchange is significantly less, meaning the flow temperature will need to be higher to provide the same amount of heat as underfloor heating.

LOW RUNNING COSTS
If a heating system is more efficient, the running costs tend to be lower. When paired with a well-designed heat pump, underfloor heating can reduce the running costs associated with heating your property. As mentioned above, a lower flow temperature can be used for underfloor heating which means you spend less money heating up the water that moves throughout your system.

Underfloor heating is especially good for creating a warm, comfortable environment for your property. Warm water is pumped beneath the surface of the floor and radiates heat evenly throughout your home. This leaves it free of cold spots and draughts and creates a pleasant atmosphere for those occupying the property. In addition, the feel of warmth beneath your feet adds to the luxurious feel of the building and is a perk many customers enjoy.
CLEAN LOOK
With an underfloor heating system installed, all the strong, flexible pipework is hidden beneath the floor which leaves your walls looking clean and free of radiators. This adds space to the property and allows for flexibility when interior designing. The removal of radiators also means that no sharp edges or hot surfaces are exposed for children (or adults) to injure themselves on.
COMPATIBLE WITH MOST FLOOR TYPES
Underfloor heating is compatible with a range of different floor types. In general, solid floors and tiles are best because they can retain heat for longer than most surfaces. However, this does not mean that other floor types are unsuitable. It is common for property owners to install underfloor heating under carpet, vinyl, laminate, and engineered wood surfaces.
