With new time-of-use electricity tariffs, homeowners can now combine battery storage with air source heat pumps (ASHPs) to take advantage of cheaper off-peak energy and significantly reduce their bills. Mrs Hewitt from Cheshire had an aim to incorporate a renewable technology heating system to her new build property in Cheshire. She achieved that by installing an 8.5kW Mitsubishi Ultra Quiet Ecodan, motivated by rising fuel prices and carbon reduction as her main reasons to install the air source heat pump system.
John and Anya from Suffolk decided to invest in the Mitsubishi Ultra Quiet Ecodan Air Source Heat pump for their Barn Conversion project. At first, they were slightly sceptical of the technology, however with a little helping hand from Alto Energy their minds changed and they will now benefit from a renewable heating source.
