We've just hit a big milestone: more than 1,000 plumbers and heating engineers across the UK are now Alto Assured.
We won't pretend we're not showing off a bit here. But that number also shows that more and more installers value having a reliable MCS umbrella provider behind them, taking care of the design, administration and compliance while they get on with the installation. But what exactly does being Alto Assured mean for you and your customers?
What is Alto Assured?
Alto Assured is about giving assurance to the installer doing the job, and to the homeowner having the heat pump installed.
For you, the installer, it's assurance that the heat pump is designed and installed in full compliance with MCS Standards, without you having to become an MCS expert overnight. You get properly trained, and you're never left to work it out alone. You get the technical support and drawings you need to get the installation right, first time. No guesswork, no scrambling for answers when a job gets complicated.
For the homeowner, it's assurance that their heat pump is fitted by a fully trained, trusted installer, not just whoever happened to be available. Alto Energy takes full responsibility for the installation after commissioning, giving homeowners peace of mind. That's backed by a comprehensive warranty and our expert technical support team, so if something needs sorting down the line, it gets sorted.
What installers get with Alto Assured
There's no shortage of umbrella schemes out there now, all promising a route into heat pumps without the cost of MCS accreditation. What sets Alto Assured apart is:
We’ll bankroll the BUS grant for you. Every quote includes the BUS grant as an instant discount, so your customer benefits immediately without you having to fund the grant yourself. We carry the cashflow burden, and as long as the installation is completed within the redemption period, we'll handle the voucher claim for you.
You're backed by an established team. With more than 4,000 heat pump installations behind us, we've got the experience to support you from design through to commissioning.
You stay in control of your installs. Being under our umbrella doesn't mean you're tied to a single brand or system. We supply multiple heat pump brands, giving you the flexibility to choose the right system for each customer and installation.
We take care of the MCS paperwork. Our dedicated compliance team handles the paperwork and certification for you, making sure everything is completed correctly and ready for sign-off.
We handle the commissioning and handover. Our own engineers commission every system and take care of the customer handover, so you can focus on the installation itself.
We're still there after the installation. Once we've commissioned a system, we take responsibility for it and provide ongoing technical support, backed by up to 7 years parts and labour warranty as standard.
