Installer Spotlight - Andy's Experience
Andy, a heating engineer at V4 Renewable Solutions, installed a Samsung GEN7 heat pump in his own home through our Start At Home scheme.
With our support, Andy replaced his gas boiler with an 8kW air source heat pump, which was commissioned by an Alto Energy engineer, and fully MCS certified through our Umbrella Scheme.

How to Join the Start At Home Scheme
Getting started is simple. If you're an installer and meet the eligibility criteria, you'll just need to complete our free heat pump training course.
You are eligible if you:
Are replacing a fossil fuel or direct electric heating system in your own home
Hold a valid Unvented Hot Water certificate
Have current public liability insurance
Complete our free heat pump installation training
Once you register, one of our Account Managers will guide you through the steps, from system design to commissioning and certification. You will have full support throughout the process, so you can focus on the installation and gain real experience.
