Mitsubishi MELCloud
MelCloud is the name for the Mitsubishi Ecodan’s mobile control and monitoring platform, which provides the perfect compliment to the UK’s most popular air source heat pump. MELCloud enables fast and easy mobile control and monitoring of your Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pump.
Take control of the following functions from your smart phone, anywhere in the world:
System on/off
Heating timers
Hot water timers
Outside temperature live feed, alongside local weather information
Energy usage
Error reports
Holiday mode
Frost protection mode
And much more…
So if you’re away on holiday or working in another country, or you’re a landlord and want to get an update on how your heat pump is operating, you can get all the information you need from the MELCloud app on your iPhone or Android smart phone.
Mitsubishi pre-plumbed cylinders
The vast majority of our Mitsubishi air source heat pump systems are supplied with one of the Mitsubishi pre-plumbed cylinders. Available in a range of volumes between 150L - 300L, the pre-plumbed cylinders come pre-plumbed and pre-wired with a significant number of components including:
Main controller - the Mitsubishi FTC5 controller
3 port valve
Primary circulation pump
Heating zone 1 circulation pump
Low loss header
Magnetic filter
This makes the pre-plumbed cylinder the logical choice in terms of the ease and speed in which the air source heat pump system can be installed.

Five Year Warranty
One of the key benefits of Alto Energy achieving Business Solutions Partner status is that our customers will now receive an upgraded 5 year warranty on the heat pump, at no extra charge. This is up to an additional three years compared to the standard warranty you receive from other suppliers.
So the warranty on the Mitsubishi equipment we now supply is:
Warranty on outdoor heat pump unit – 5 years
Warranty on indoor pre-plumbed cylinder and control units – 3 years
This new warranty applies to all new orders placed with Alto Energy from the start of August 2019.
